5 yr old 16.2 hh cross gelding. Competed through novice locally, will be ready for some more recognized horse trials this winter. This guy has been thoughtfully produced this last year after being brought down from Canada. We spent some time making him more rideable, getting him out and about for more life experience, and just getting through some of the growth spurts that come with 5. Now this fall he feels SO ready for his person. To me he is the perfect balance of forward without being hot, quick footed without being naughty. He comes out every single day and gives a 100% for every ride. He’s schooling 1.0m courses regularly at home and will be ready for a spring training move up with an ambitious partner. Strikes me as the perfect type for someone not looking for that TB ride but still wanting something with a good feeling across the fences and a fantastic gallop. 3 good up hill gaits. He does have powerful feeling gaits so wouldn’t be ideal for a totally timid rider, but would suite someone looking for a horse with prelim/1*+ ability. Shown in video with 6’ tall young rider.
