"Skye" 8 yr old 17.2 hh Belgium/tb cross mare. Gorgeous 2015 chestnut Belgian x tb sport horse mare standing 17.2h by the tb stallion Exhi. She is currently schooling 3rd level with single flying changes. With a good start over fences, schooling 2’6” courses and enjoys getting out to the cross country field. She has also experienced hound exercise with our local hunt club and would excel as a hunt horse. Despite her size, she is supple and soft in the hand and responsive off the aids. Having been developed correctly from the start, will hack out happily alone on the buckle or with a group, Frequently accompanied by dogs, has been on hunter paces. This lovely mare has been given a wonderful education in many disciplines and is now ready to be developed further in one or all. She does not need to be in a structured program, ride her once a week or 7, there’s never any silly business, she can be given time off and then hop on with no prep and right back into work never missing a beat. She has lived outside 24/7 with a mixed herd or with all mares, and in a stall. She stands perfectly for anything you could possibly want to do with her, farrier, vet, clipping, bathing (although prefers warm water to cold) grooming, tacking. She has NO vices or bad behaviours, no maintenance, no history of injury or health issues and NOT herd bound. She is extremely easy to catch in the field. Loads on a trailer very easily. $32,000
